Keep Making Things

I have spent a lot of my life making things work.

Software, websites, systems, projects, and sometimes parts of my own life that stopped working the way I expected.

I am learning that not everything needs to become a product, attract an audience, or justify the time spent creating it. Sometimes an idea is worth pursuing simply because it teaches you something, makes you curious, or leaves a small part of the world better than you found it.

Make things carefully. Share what you learn. Help other people build. Use the new tools without surrendering your judgment to them.

And when life interrupts the work, begin again when you can.
